About BIH HPC

The High Performance Compute (HPC) IT team maintains, extends, and supports the scientific compute systems at the Berlin Institute of Health. The prime service offered by HPC-IT is the BIH cluster which was designed and optimized for processing human genome data for translational research. The system is currently used by 150+ groups and 900+ users mostly for bioinformatics data analysis but also for simulation, image analysis, and machine learning.
